I began weaving in 2002 after the passing of my mother who was a fiber artist in the Wine Country of California. I inherited my mother’s looms, supplies, inspiration and drive.

I am inspired by the geometric shapes in nature and enjoy creating series of pieces such as my Celestial Moons & Planets and the more earth bound series - Beetles from Thailand and my Menagerie.

I am currently intrigued by mazes. You can see my mazes in both my recent tapestries as well and the delicate two and three dimensional pieces that I weave with sewing thread.

My looms are never empty and my dogs always close by.
